Dr. Abbas says that the best thing about being a dentist isn’t the teeth, but the people he gets to spend his
days with. He always enjoys welcoming new patients, catching up with returning ones, and working alongside team
members that are just as skilled as they are kind. He knows you’ll have a great experience at Real Dental, and
he can’t wait to show you what’s possible for your smile.
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Abbas grew up around dentistry thanks to his parents, and it just felt natural to follow in their footsteps. Just
like them, he loved working with his hands, was interested in art and science, and was drawn to helping people
protect and uplift their health and appearance.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
After graduating from the University of the Pacific, Dr. Abbas earned his dental degree from the UC San Francisco
School of Dentistry. Since then, he has stayed committed to continuing education and dental research, completing
many hours of training focused on composites and staining as well as sleep dentistry. He is also an active member of
the American Dental Association and is a Fellow with the International College of Dentists.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Abbas and his loving wife (who is a physician) are expecting their first child in the near future, and they
couldn’t be more excited! In his free time, he likes to cook, write, and play polo. He also considers himself
to be a coffee aficionado and claims to make the best flat white you’ll ever have.
